Empowering Your Fitness Journey
I am a certified Personal Trainer, group exercise instructor, and Livestrong cancer exercise instructor. I have been personal training for 10 years and have experience working with all of ages and physical abilities. I've helped clients reach their weight loss goals, train to improve their athleticism, and to just feel better, move more comfortably, and increase their overall vitality. I'm very passionate about exercise and wellness and look forward to sharing that passion with all of my clients.

The initial assessment involves a postural and movement analysis because no two bodies move the same way. We'll discuss your fitness goals and any barriers that might get in the way of achieving them.

Next, we will create a workout plan tailored to meet your fitness preferences and goals. We can create plans for busy schedules or frequent travelers. Your workout program will change overtime as you adapt to the workouts and get stronger and more fit. We'll focus on core strength and joint stability and mobility to ensure the workout program is sustainable. I believe that workout programs should focus on more than just short term goals. We will create a program together that you'll look forward to following the rest of your life.

My training sessions aim to provide a challenging and supportive environment. We'll focus on exercises that you do well and accomplish your goals. Additionally we will incorporate exercises that improve posture and mobility while addressing and muscle imbalances that may exist. You won't be forced to do any exercises that you dislike or ones that feel too awkward or uncomfortable. The best workout program is one that you can maintain over a long period of time and one that you look forward to doing. We will work together to create the best plan for you.

That’s why everything we do here at Kennedy Functional Fitness is individualized. No cookie-cutter programs, no one-size-fits-all plans. Everyone’s body is different, and everyone responds to exercise in their own way. Through a movement assessment, we'll select the best exercises and correct form to ensure you won't injure yourself, in addition to building up some resiliency to help prevent any future injuries or pain. Some people respond better to more frequent workouts, others thrive on less frequent, longer training sessions. Together, we’ll discover what works best for you and create a program that fits not just your goals, but also the way your body adapts, ensuring sustainable progress and long-term success.
